Editors’s Note: The following is the script presented at the Nov. 11, 2023 At Conwell We Are On! student morning show. The show featured a student report on the history of Veterans Day, a video report with Y. Cabera-Cruz-’26 and J. Santiago-’26/CCB Contributors who interviewed Conwell’s Climate Manager, Mr. Washington, about his service. The program also featured guest commentators Conwell Math Teacher Ms. Golub and Conwell Assistant Principal Ms. Sanford, who spoke on the importance of Veterans Day. The following is the script for the Mr. Washington Interview segment, as led by ACWAO co-host A. Peralta-’25, and edited for this post.
